Enrollment at UP Excellence is tuition-free. We offer transportation to students within a 3-mile radius of our campus. Please refer to the enrollment dates below.

Enrolling Pre-K-2nd Grade Students for the 2024-25 School Year
Application Period
October-July
The application period for UP Excellence Academy runs from October 1st to July 15th for students entering Pre-K, 1st, and 2nd grade.
Lottery Process
May 29
If there are more applicants than seats available at UP Excellence Academy, a lottery will be held on May 29th. We give priority to siblings!
Registration Requirements
June-July
Families will need to provide a Social Security Card (if the student has one), Birth Certificate, Proof of Address, Report Card, Vaccine Record (or waiver), Guardian’s Driver’s License (or photo ID), and Guardianship documentation (if applicable) for registration.
Transportation Services
Free Transportation within 3 Miles
Transportation is free for families residing within a 3-mile radius of the school. To sign up for transportation services, click here to contact the school administration with your address to confirm eligibility and establish pick-up points within the designated service areas.
Uniform Policy
UP Excellence Uniforms
At UP Excellence Academy, students are required to wear uniforms as part of the school's dress code policy. Uniforms help create a sense of unity and equality among students, fostering a conducive learning environment. To obtain the required uniforms, students can visit the school's uniform shop or order online.
Aftercare Services
M-F 6:00 am-6:00 pm
Aftercare is available from 4-6pm every day and is free for all students. The Aftercare program provides a safe and supervised environment for students after regular school hours.
Family Orientation
July
The Family Orientation sessions will take place on July 16th at 6 pm and July 20th at 11 am. Please mark your calendars accordingly.
First Day of School
August 14
On August 14th, the first day of school, students can expect a 7:15 am drop-off with classes commencing at 7:45 am. We can’t wait!
